Needing a Revelation

Galatians 1:11-12 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul certified that the gospel message he preached was not a man made idea, but of divine origin  It was not something even he came up with, but something the LORD Himself revealed. The question then becomes, "How did Paul receive this gospel message?" He said that he received it by revelation.
The word revelation is a word that means an unveiling. It means a removal of something that conceals, and leads to an uncovering. The revelation that Paul describes is an act of God the Holy Spirit uncovering a truth that man was incapable of discovering apart from divine assistance. The Lord is the one who revealed the truth, and the Lord gave Paul the ability to understand the truth.

The Lord still opens up His word to the person who seeks Him. Perhaps there are some things you are praying about that you need God to give you revelation. Your not sure what step to take and which direction to go. As You seek Him you will find Him, when you search for Him with all your heart. May God grant us understanding of His revealed truth.
