Back to Work

Easter weekend was amazing. So many incredible praise reports. In our staff meeting today we all took some time to reflect and share about the faithfulness of God. Many shared of how blessed they were to see the church body serving together. Others spoke of how faithful the Lord was to bring people to a saving knowledge of Jesus through the gospel. We also looked at things that we can improve on next time.
But now its back to work. We have come off the mountain top and we are back in the valley. It was so appropriate this Sunday to be in Luke 9 considering the transfiguration of Jesus. Peter James and John had the unique experience of getting a glimpse of glory. Although Peter wanted to build three tabernacles and stay on the Mountain they had to come down. And when they reached the bottom of the mountain they were confronted by demon possessed boy  and his desperate father.
There will always be battles in the valley. I love the mountain top but we are made for the valley. The great thing was the disciples brought Jesus with them into the valley. I pray that you are encouraged today and that you will continue to move forward in your walk with the Lord. That is our intention here at the fellowship. To keep looking to Jesus and moving ahead into whatever He has for us as a church in the future.
